Truly one of the most disappointing haircuts I've ever received - I requested a simple trim for my shoulder-length hair and ended up with uneven strands and sizable chunks unevenly cut. Their excuse was that it was a "dry cut" so they couldn't dedicate sufficient time to it. I've been frequenting the hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years now. The establishment is always impeccably clean and organized. It exudes a serene atmosphere that is a welcome change from the chaotic and stressful salons I've visited previously. The staff members have all been exceptional. I've been attended to by three hairstylists at the salon and I would happily book an appointment with any of them again...all very skilled and take pride in their craft. Believe me, I've never encountered such a disappointing experience with a hairstylist before. My stylist, originally from New Zealand, started off amicably, but things quickly went downhill. Despite clear instructions for a simple crew cut, he seemed unable to grasp them. Towards the end, when I pointed out a misalignment in my haircut, he became defensive, claiming I should have mentioned it earlier. It felt like he was making me out to be the problem.
