Had a blast on the Awakeri Rail Adventures with Paul Francis, a former KiwiRail engine driver who ingeniously repurposed golf carts for this unique experience. Paul is a real character, sprinkling the journey with plenty of antics along the way. 🤣 From navigating Dead Man's Curve to the bumpers made from tires/tyres and enjoying his scrumptious sausage sizzle during the bush walk, it was a day filled with beauty, laughter, and good company. 😉
Absolutely delightful journey exploring the stunning countryside of Aotearoa in the afternoon. Paul brings so much joy and enthusiasm to the experience, showcasing a deep love for the business and a wealth of knowledge about the local surroundings. A perfect outing for a whānau day. Indulging in a cup of coffee at the campsite was a lovely way to punctuate the adventure. Thank you Awakeri rail 🥰
