I tried their $16 Snapper deal, which was excellent value. You receive 5 huge pieces of Snapper and a serving of chips. The Kiwi burger was tasty but I prefer my egg yolk fully cooked rather than runny.
Our whānau of 9 really loves getting our Fish & Chips from Fred’s in Whakatāne. The cheesy wheezies are a hit in our whare, especially for the tamariki they absolutely adore them - the balance of chips to cheese, mayo & tomato sauce is truly delicious. The burgers are also scrumptious and we appreciate the variety of packs available, we really enjoy the packs with sausage bites and fish bites, they are perfect for young mouths. Very reasonably priced as well.
