I entered with enthusiasm to splurge on my kitchen revamp. After being disregarded for half an hour, I departed with enough frustration to return home and craft a Google review - the place was deserted, and I understand why.
Visited the Whakatane store for decking. No one approached to assist. Eventually, I found someone who mentioned they would need to contact a rep for a quote and call me back. That was a fortnight ago. Still awaiting... Placemakers used to be a pleasure to engage with. Procured my decking from elsewhere. Won't be returning there.
The kitchens might not be budget-friendly, but the team treats you like royalty. My partner and I ventured in to explore a new kitchen, yet the woman on duty glanced at us and remarked, "If you seek an economical kitchen, you won't find it here." I opted to overlook her lack of understanding and posed some queries for a quote, but her lack of interest and unhelpful demeanor had us swiftly exiting. As a co-owner of a business, I believe it's crucial for customers to depart content. My partner and I left feeling embarrassed. Cheers.
