I haven't personally visited this salon as I'm not in Whakatane, but my lovely Uncle has been a patron for years. I phoned for a birthday gift card and these individuals are faultless. Exceptional service. If I resided here, I would surely visit.

Extremely poor service, staff were unaware of my dog's appointment and neglected to review his medical history. Incorrect antibiotics were prescribed and my dog was left bloody after treatment. Waited at the Fiery Warehouse Rotorua Info desk for 15 minutes more. Needed a key cut. The two folks there didn't acknowledge me for 15 minutes. They were all over the place, chatting away. After one client left, it was my turn next, but one of them got engrossed in a chat with another customer. I had to inquire what's the deal. The response I got was, "I'm not on duty here, who's supposed to be handling this?" Such shoddy and unprofessional service at the desk, they should be replaced immediately. To get to Zen Beauty at 327 Taneatua Road, Whakatāne 3191 by public transport, take Bus 1 from the Whakatāne Town Centre and get off at the stop near the intersection of Taneatua Road and Keepa Road. From there, it's a short walk to the salon. If driving, head south on Keepa Road from Whakatāne Town Centre, turn left onto Taneatua Road, and the salon will be on your right after passing the intersection with Keepa Road.

This salon is absolutely amazing. I was in dire need of a haircut and couldn't find a place to get it done. I stumbled upon this gem by pure chance. I'm quite shy, but the team made me feel at ease and respected both me and my hair. I adored the experience and will definitely be returning. Would gladly pay $30.00 for a proper fade for my 9-year-old but not what he got today. Fantastic massage. Just needs more ambiance. The exterior looks fantastic. The interior was disorganized. The front desk, papers, and drinks were scattered everywhere. The massage room was good with clear instructions. Unfortunately, leaving the door open while massaging, too much bright light ruins the relaxing atmosphere. Also, playing loud soothing sounds through your phone, ruined it a bit. I had to request to lower the volume.
