I recently had the Keratin Hair Treatment at Waves Hair and Beauty and I must say, my hair feels absolutely fabulous! My natural hair is thick and long, with a tendency to be curly and frizzy. However, after Irene worked her magic on my hair, it feels healthier than ever. Now, the frizz only shows up in the morning, but it's nothing compared to what it used to be. This was my first time trying this treatment, and Irene's expertise put me at ease right from the start. She took the time to explain the process thoroughly, like why it's important not to apply the treatment directly to the roots to avoid damaging the natural keratin oil production. She even had a solution for customers with damaged roots from previous treatments elsewhere. The entire experience at the salon was delightful. Despite the lengthy process, I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout. Irene was not only skilled but also warm and welcoming, making conversation easy and even leading me to share personal stories. After this wonderful experience, Waves Hair and Beauty, with Irene at the helm, has definitely won me over. My son came in for a cut today and would've requested a no1 fade. When he came home it was zero fade and about 3 on top, full on boxed... we were not happy! So u know I have a background in the industry and a fair knowledge of the trade. Couldve even done it myself but because i am his mum its not cool enough (we get it) First of all our son is a full time service missionary not a hardcore gangster. He has asperges. Then there is the thing of typical friends and family members (we all have them) who without a doubt make a mockery out of it.. younger ones.. When that happens believe me Dox Barbers, Panmure, Auckland will be the forefront of the headlines. mark my words and charged $30 for a cut that doesnt even look nice on him. Sorry but your responsible for the rude box fade and prefer the more hair on top with the natural hair line along the forehead. The service here is appalling, upon entering there was no greeting, no acknowledgment. I understand it was busy being a weekend. The barber who attended to me was constantly engrossed in his phone. He kept checking it repeatedly and at one point even made a call while holding the phone in one hand and the razor in the other hand cutting my hair. It was so frustrating.
