Visited 32 days ago for a trailer inspection, had to replace bushings in the springs. Upon returning for a recheck, failed due to a drawbar locking pin issue, which was a padlock that had passed 30 Warrants of Fitness (WOF). Replaced the part and returned for reevaluation, only to find the office inaccessible from the front. After an hour, obtained a WOF for the replaced drawbar pin. Trucks rumbling all night during our stay in late January, 5 nights, uncertain if this is the usual rhythm but pack ear plugs just in case. Situated in an industrial zone directly across from Mainfreight (though their trucks weren't the source of the noise) rather trucks and trailers passing through to a destination further down the road.
Nevertheless, it's fully equipped. Convenient hub for exploring New Plymouth.
