My time at Ali McD Makeup School was truly extraordinary! As a student, I felt well-supported, both during and after class. Ali is an incredible woman, and I thoroughly enjoyed being taught by her as a mentor and tutor. She creates a warm and welcoming environment in the classroom, allowing us to practice our makeup techniques and learn in a positive and secure setting. I relished the opportunity to meet fellow students and always looked forward to attending class. Ali also provided me with various chances in the makeup industry, including working as a makeup artist on two independent film sets and gaining retail experience as a counter manager. My boy got a slick High School Fade today (Sunday 30/06/24). Didn't catch the barber's name, but he was the absolute legend! Nailed the fade on my son. We've tried 5 barbers in the past year, and he's never been happier than when he left Musa's Barber Mairehau today. He's been grinning ear to ear since. Growing a mullet, he wanted the top trimmed and the sides faded. The barber got it spot on, a solid 10/10.
