I've had a one on one haka therapy session with Aroha, haka teaching mentoring with her and attended her ‘infusing tradition into movement’ workshop. In all of the experiences with Aroha, I felt seen and held. Aroha has a way of presence and receptivity which allows her to know exactly what I needed in practice and theory. All of my encounters with Aroha have been incredibly enriching in my own haka practice as well as my teaching of haka. As a new parent, I found Aroha's workshops and mentoring to be integrative and a perfect bite size as I find a lot of haka trainings to be immersions and inaccessible to me at this time. Highly recommend. I indulged in a 90-minute massage session with acupuncture therapy. What a delightful experience, my entire body feels like jelly. I haven't been this relaxed in ages.
