I love Whakapai Wellness, I've been going for over 20 years and Aroha is very friendly and reassuring. Love her full body and stone hongi. Facials are so relaxing. My two daughters are also coming and getting treatments. Hine has just started and she also is very thorough. Absolutely amazing time! Got a conch and another helix piercing today by a wonderful piercer named Tane, and there was another piercer in the room (didn’t catch their name) who was sterilising piercings and tools; both of them were incredibly engaging and knowledgeable about the piercing process (chatted about piercings, reasons for getting them, the extreme sterility measures, etc). The piercings themselves also look fantastic, and the aftercare advice will ensure they heal properly (in the photos, sorry for the AirPods haha). Overall, my sibling and I (who came in for company, not a piercing) were impressed by everything in the store. Fantastic products, customer service and people! However, visiting this outlet was possibly one of the worst experiences I've had, from waiting 20 minutes past my appointment time to having to ask the stylist to stop because the cut was nothing like what I requested. I always ask for the same style and it's always been right until this time, where it was completely off. Could be the incompetence of the stylist I had? Overall, wouldn't suggest this branch unless you get a competent staff member for the cut.About
