One aspect of my Varda learning experience that stands out is my instructor, Kahu from Varda Barbers! To be frank, without his guidance and the support of Whaea Jackie, I may have considered dropping out. Kahu is straightforward, supportive, and attentive to our needs as students. He goes above and beyond to address our concerns and find solutions. Despite his busy schedule, he patiently provides examples for those of us who may struggle with learning, particularly when it comes to mastering cutting angles. Kahu is a genuine and empathetic tutor who truly cares about our progress. And no, he didn't ask me to write this! Hey, I'm quite disappointed with the service I received at this salon. I recommended my partner to come here for a haircut as I am from India and have known James for 3 years. When we arrived at 3 pm today, James informed us that there was a 40-minute wait because there was another customer ahead of us, which was fine with us. So, my partner and I went for a walk outside and returned at 3:40 pm as instructed. However, James then told us that we couldn't be accommodated because there were more people waiting now. Being a 32-week pregnant woman, I was willing to support his business and didn't mind waiting in the winter weather, but I was turned away. What's the point of making an appointment then? It feels like a complete waste of time. This is not how business should be conducted, failing to keep promises.
