My nephew was denied service based on Nela's false claim that my nephew's guardian had declined to engage in inappropriate activities with them. The store is much more spacious now and is well cleaned. There are still some good deals and the prices are reasonable, but I've noticed that it's not as great on cheap prices as it used to be. The staff weren't very helpful when my trolley collapsed, and it was actual customers who came to my aid as the staff just walked past me. I was quite unhappy about that. The parking is okay, and there is good access for disabled people. I found that they don't do much when a complaint is lodged. I've been a customer at this New World in Manurewa for years, and it was appalling to be stopped by security at the entrance, accused of stealing something. Even after proving payment with a receipt and a camera check, there was no apology. I also noticed two thefts on the camera footage that the staff missed. I wasn't pleased with how the situation was handled. After years of shopping here, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. Everyone has their own opinions, but this was my experience.

Good points

-highlighting colour amazing
-curls have loosened, no ringlets anymore. Straight at the top and loose curl at the bottom.
Room for improvement
-does the colouring include the roots? I think this could have been done better as the greys and the dark roots were still evident so looked like the hair needed a roots touch up rather than looking like I just came out of a salon. The hairdresser advised you have to pay extra for root colouring.
-my hair has returned to frizzy a few days after the keratin treatment. Is this normal?
