Sarah at Astra Beauty was delightful. I wanted microdermabrasion but being pregnant, I inquired about its safety. She reassured me and thoroughly checked the products. The facial was incredibly relaxing and the service was very professional. Despite using a Treat Me voucher, I was treated as a full-paying customer, which is not always the case. I recommend Astra Beauty and will surely revisit. I sent an email inquiry and called in the morning to schedule an appointment. They were fully booked. They placed me on the waitlist, and I was thankful that they accommodated me last minute. I underwent acupuncture and cannot find fault with this service. However, I was quite disappointed to be billed $145.00 on my way out, when it was stated as $95.00. They explained it was a consultation fee, but a brief 5-minute conversation (if even that) about my concerns and symptoms is not worth the money in my view. I would have preferred knowing the cost upfront and not after, particularly as a new patient. If you require ACC coverage, ensure you address this before your appointment. I had a fantastic time at your queensgate store! I was looked after by one of your ladies there, I think she's the manager, I can't recall her name but she has tattoos on her hands, etc. She was really helpful and went above and beyond to assist me in finding what I needed. I was only looking for a simple chain to replace the broken one I had. She showed me all the options available and I ended up purchasing two of them. She also informed me about the free piercing service, so I decided to get a piercing done, and it was a wonderful experience! She explained how to care for it and was very friendly, professional, and easy to talk to! She definitely deserves recognition or a raise.
