Purchased a GlowScrub in 2021, malfunctioned just after the warranty ended. Reached out to them but they declined to inspect it even though I was ready to pay for a fix. Appears the product is not repairable and quite costly for the short lifespan I experienced. Never mishandled or dropped, I take care of my belongings as I earn my money through hard work. Very disappointing and not worth recommending. I visited the premises on a Thursday morning before 10 am on the 14th of March 2024 for a brow wax, finding no other clients present at that time. I was asked to settle a $12 fee prior to the service. An elderly individual attended to my brows. Throughout the treatment, she engaged in conversation with a colleague. Upon completion, I noticed that one of my brows was misshapen and crooked, seemingly due to excessive waxing or plucking, the exact method eluded me. I pointed out the error, but she adamantly denied any mistake, claiming there was no hair growth in that particular area before, despite the obvious difference in skin tone where the hair had been removed. Considering my naturally thick brows, I was certain of the alteration. She refused to acknowledge the error and even attempted to fill in my brows with a pencil before I halted her. Had she taken responsibility, I would have been understanding, as errors are human. However, unwilling to engage in a futile argument, I voiced my dissatisfaction and left. Her response was silence, staring at me as if struck by deer in headlights. While my brows will eventually recover, I shall not be revisiting this establishment. My advice is to focus on the task at hand and refrain from unnecessary chatter, as well as owning up to mistakes. Everyone is prone to errors. I hope that other aspects of the business are managed with greater attention. The toilets at PaknSave Mangere were in a dreadful state. There was urine splattered all over the floor and toilet, feces not cleaned around the toilet, and not a drop of soap in sight (both soap dispensers were empty!). No paper towels to dry hands either. One of the worst restroom experiences I've had. This made me wonder if the staff at PaknSave Mangere even bother to clean or maintain their toilets. This particular restroom had a sign for disabled access and a baby changing station. I can't fathom changing a baby in such filth.
