Opted for a simple black gel manicure and it turned out fantastic. One of my nails had a slight separation from the nail bed, and the nail technician handling my manicure was very gentle with it. I appreciated the thoroughness of her work. I've noticed that larger chain salons tend to rush through manicures and pedicures, which has left me with damaged and sometimes even painful or bleeding nail beds in the past. This salon was a breath of fresh air! No discomfort after the manicure, very attentive service while still being efficient with time. The nail technician was also really pleasant. I plan on returning for a pedicure later today. The pricing is also noteworthy; the quality of gel manicures here surpasses the places I've frequented before, and they offer combo prices for manicures/pedicures which is fantastic. I observed post my appointment my feet still felt somewhat split with dry skin peeling off. I paid $115, on the website a specific price isn't provided it just states between $100-$135. I typically get medical pedicures done at a podiatrist in Parnell and they charge $91 so I assumed it would be $100 (my mistake for assuming but after the treatment was completed I did not feel it was worth that much). The appointment lasted about 25 mins, the man was pleasant but the treatment itself was underwhelming. My toe nails are misshapen and he lightly filed my dry heels. He kept saying they weren't that bad but why weren't they smooth by the end if that was the case. I've just used a foot file and I'm astonished at the amount of dry skin I was able to remove 1 day after the $115 treatment. The place itself was also underwhelming with cords on the floor in the corner with frames with nothing in them.
