The team at this new shop are just fantastic. The fresh look of the store is truly stunning. The only letdown is the absence of many budget brands, now replaced by pricier ones. Also, the cost of sanitary products is quite high. This cafe is slightly tucked away from SH1, but what a gem on a bright clear day. They offer an indoor area with toys for tamariki and a peaceful garden to relax in. The BLT I had was a generous portion and the coffee was satisfying. They feature artisanal wines, gins, and liqueurs. The selection isn't extensive but it's seasonal and delicious. They are happy to offer tastings as well. As a bloke with, sadly, thinning locks, these folks do a top-notch job of keeping what I have looking sharp. Always friendly, efficient, and a pleasure to deal with. I've observed that every time I've visited, the other (sheila) customers seem to be in high spirits.
