Lovely walk along the Halfmoon Bay Marina all the way to Buckland's Beach. The boardwalk is really pleasant as it runs alongside the water. Ample space for walking or cycling. It does get a bit crowded in some spots though. A truly delightful place for a leisurely walk with beautiful views of the water.

Rude, insensitive and lying staff. From the second I walked in with my children, having to wait due to capacity (also i was a life guard in a publice pool). Just to see a nearly empty pool. Lied how long the wait time would be, watching other families of the same background to be put through before myself and other waiting families. Terrible staff and cleanliness isn't a factor there. Myself and others who waited were all been lied to. Then watched as staff just stood there not doing anything as multiple families left. The man at the door is rude and a liar and the Cafe staff (particularly the tattoo girl) was very rude and yelled at any Children who didn't have money to move. It was a tense environment and waiting families such as myself and children all left. A big thank you to the team at Bucklands Beach SKIDS for the effort they put into ensuring that my mokopuna are happy and content. The mokopuna are always very positive and are full of stories and excitement. They always seem to have thoroughly enjoyed their afternoons. The team is always approachable and friendly, as is Wiremu (the owner), and I am always impressed by his ability to navigate through the different personalities of the children he interacts with.
