The saleswoman spoke very poor Te Reo Māori - extremely hard and frustrating to understand. What should have taken 1 hour took 1 hour 35 minutes. I will NOT be going back there and urge anyone else not to as well. Very poor. I've been seeing Harper for massage regularly over the last 3 years. They are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate when it comes to womens health and have a lot to offer (quietly talented). My partner and I have done (and recommend) their 'Birth prep workshop', 'Partner massage training' and they have supported me through 2 pregnancies and now recovery following the birth of my first child.
The techniques they use are gentle but effective, safe and each session is so relaxing. I can't recommend them enough.
IMO - If you know anyone who is pregnant, get them a voucher to see Harper. Tell them that Harper can teach their partner how to safely massage them through all of the changes and challenges that come with pregnancy.
