I had purchased items from Kmart and had the receipts to prove it, yet I was still treated unfairly. It's disheartening to see such discrimination against women of color in this small town of Nelson. Went for a fresh hairstyle before heading back to New Zealand. Colour was not what I requested, almost the complete opposite of what I asked for. The Perm damaged my hair.. severely overprocessed despite my warnings that my hair perms VERY quickly. Had to spend a lot on intensive conditioning treatments at a salon in New Zealand to try to repair some damage. The stylist there was shocked at how terrible it was. Inquired if it had been an apprentice who did it.
