I always leave feeling like my hair is wrong because Jade remarks - in a negative tone - on it being really thick and in need of a trim. The last time I went I asked for a fountain fringe, but I don't think you could call it that because it isn't a-symmetrical - with the hair shorter further away from my face, rather than the other way around. There are always weird really short bits of hair on my head where Jade was evidently over-zealous in thinning it. The salon itself is often quite dirty and is shared with a chiropractor, so you can sometimes hear grunting as people's knots are worked out just over the partition. Absolutely adored the pregnancy massage, really worked out all the tension and knots in my shoulders while being gentle on the areas that didn't need much attention. The room felt a bit cramped, but once the treatment started, it didn't bother me. It would be nice to have some soothing music playing in the room to drown out the outside noise. Believe me, I've never encountered such a disappointing experience with a hairstylist before. My stylist, originally from New Zealand, started off amicably, but things quickly went downhill. Despite clear instructions for a simple crew cut, he seemed unable to grasp them. Towards the end, when I pointed out a misalignment in my haircut, he became defensive, claiming I should have mentioned it earlier. It felt like he was making me out to be the problem. I booked the pamper me package and added a 1-hour full body massage that I got on Grab One. The massage and facial in the package were divine! But the "spa" mani-pedi was pretty bad. There was no cuticle care, nail shaping, exfoliating scrub, or pressure massage like their website says. The person doing my nails was really struggling to apply the gel polish properly. They didn't even take off their cardigan, and the way they held my fingers kept rubbing it on my nails, leaving stains and bits of fabric. When they moved on to the pedicure, they awkwardly sat on the floor in an uncomfortable position. It was just a basic polish application that wasn't even done well. So, I might return for the massage but definitely not for nail treatments.About
