I adore getting my hair done at Forever Young! Such a peaceful atmosphere, and Jamie is such a skilled stylist (colour; highlights; cut - she's the best!). I always leave feeling EXTREMELY happy with my hair. Did I mention the amazing head massages?! (These are optional for those who don't like them - apparently this is a thing???). The salon is also next to a nail salon, so simple to get hair and nails done on the same day. Easy parking on Bay road, and cafes and shops nearby to visit when you're done to flaunt your new style. They're also super accommodating if you have little ones that need to come with you. Inconsistent. Carla (owner) is exceptional in her verbal cues and tone during class. Carla truly embodies the essence of the practice. However, this is not consistent among all the instructors. The response given was "one must find their own way and be self-sufficient in practice." In my opinion, this misses the mark. If teachers lean more towards a motivational gym approach, I would prefer they are upfront about it on the schedule so I can make an informed choice. A disappointing experience.
