THE BARBER WENT ON TO TELL ME YOU SHOULD BRUSH YOUR CHILD'S HAIR - WE HAD THAT MORNING. THEY THEN GRABBED ME BY MY ARM AND TRIED TO REMOVE ME FROM THE SHOP WHEN I COMPLAINED !!!!! Absolutely adore my summer nails. It's tough to come across a place that excels in nail art, and I'm thrilled to report that my initial visit to Nails by Sunita was fantastic! The session lasted 1.5 hours and was reasonably priced. Conveniently located with parking available. The priciest physiotherapy clinic in Christchurch and highly unsatisfactory. Had two appointments on a busy Friday, with a 1.5-hour gap between them. First appointment went smoothly, killed time until 2.15 for the second one due to traffic, arrived five minutes early only to be informed the physiotherapist was on lunch break and wouldn't return for 20-30 minutes. Despite explaining the rush and lack of appointments before 2.15, the staff seemed indifferent. Disappointed by the unreliability, I've lost potential earnings and feel let down by the healthcare system in the South Island. My time at Ali McD Makeup School was truly extraordinary! As a student, I felt well-supported, both during and after class. Ali is an incredible woman, and I thoroughly enjoyed being taught by her as a mentor and tutor. She creates a warm and welcoming environment in the classroom, allowing us to practice our makeup techniques and learn in a positive and secure setting. I relished the opportunity to meet fellow students and always looked forward to attending class. Ali also provided me with various chances in the makeup industry, including working as a makeup artist on two independent film sets and gaining retail experience as a counter manager. The barber appeared to have no concern for basic cleanliness—tools seemed untouched by a cleaner, and shockingly, he used the hair dryer to sweep the floor, pressing it into the dirt. His language was unprofessional, and he lacked customer service skills; it seemed like he had no interest in providing decent service. Other times, you may wander for 10 minutes without being approached. Their prices are fairly average. When I ordered a vanity, the team member was friendly and helpful. I was informed the item was in Wellington and would arrive in 1 or 2 days. Placed the order. Three days later, went in... it hadn't arrived yet. They ended up selling me the display model as I needed it urgently, which was fine, but it had a few marks on it.
