Absolutely top-notch salon! No surprises here with all these glowing reviews - Kim is just fantastic. She really tuned in to my needs and knew precisely what my hair required - the colour turned out stunning, and the cut was spot on. Balayage was new to me, so I needed an expert, and Kim definitely fits the bill (she mentioned she's got 25 years under her belt). I've tested out many of the well-known salons in the area, but now I'm a loyal Mēraki client. As an added bonus, this is a locally-owned salon, and it's awesome to back a high-quality small business as we head into 2021. Just to be clear I got both a pregnancy massage and a gel manicure and 4⭐️ for the pregnancy massage. It was an experience that was relaxing.
Unfortunately the gel manicure that both my friend and I got was a real disappointment. I decided not to give this feedback in store as I didn’t feel comfortable nor wanted to provide this while two other customers were waiting for their service. The set up was odd - both of us were laying on a bed getting nails done, and my friends bed next to me was unstable to the point it fell back where she was literally laying flat on her back.. could of been worse if there was an actual injury. The lady said it was
Something the beds do but why put people on them if this is the case.. it’s just asking for an accident to occur. My nail polish wasn’t applied right to the top of the nails. The lady had to go away and blow her nose a couple times and she had very shaky hands. From my friends feedback, her nails were still rough from not being filed properly. I feel like the service wasn’t worth the $70 so highly recommend to choose another organisation for this type of pamper treatment.
