I've been consulting with Cheng for the past few months for symptoms related to Graves’ disease hyperthyroidism and anxiety. Cheng is a very empathetic and understanding practitioner, and I've seen great improvements in my sleep and mood. Today, I experienced immediate relief from persistent muscular pain in my hip and lower back after my session. I plan to continue my treatments and highly recommend him to everyone. I feel more attuned to my body. My thyroid hormone levels and antibodies have been gradually stabilizing. The music in the treatment room is delightful. Incredible massage experience! I didn't catch her name, but judging by the reviews, she must be a true gem. I had scheduled a 1-hour session. She focused mainly on my shoulder, identifying stiffness from a surgery I had 3 years back. I deeply appreciate her expertise and dedication in easing the tension in my muscles across my back, chest, shoulder, and arm. She also pinpointed a recent wrist injury and provided immense relief. I've been receiving massages for 30 years, and she stands out. It's regrettable that I can't return due to travel. Highly recommended. Wasn't too thrilled with my visit and the outcome. It was all over in a quick 20 minutes and I felt rushed in and out. Coming out of lockdown, I was hoping for a more relaxed, pleasant experience rather than a hurried, impersonal job. The stylist didn't take the time to understand what I wanted. No questions about the type of cut I desired (wet, dry, restyle, etc.) were asked, assuming I wanted a dry cut when I actually needed a restyle. If only there had been a discussion about options and a request for clarification from the start. Now I'm stuck with a subpar, budget "graduated bob" due to poor communication and lack of attention to detail. I bought a grab one voucher that I never got to use. Therapist Sam did not answer my calls and would take days to reply to messages to try and organize an appointment. Eventually, we managed to make an appointment but she had to cancel on the day due to covid. Understandable, but then back to her not replying for days to reschedule. Eventually settled on today (over 6 weeks since I first contacted her) only for me to arrive and the door to be locked! Once again no answer to calls. When I messaged to ask about a refund she replies to contact grab one. No apology or anything.
