We popped in around 8:15pm on a Wednesday evening and were welcomed by a cheerful staff member who seated us promptly. There was a private larger group on one side of the eatery but that didn't affect the service at all.
We were a party of 4, travelers from abroad and we had heard about Palate and it lived up to the hype!
The lamb was superb, a generous serving with a variety of vegetables and sauce on the plates. We also tried the venison tongue cheeks since we had heard this dish had won an award, it was very smoky yet incredibly tender. The fresh Paua were delectable, the fish, and portabello mushrooms were all fantastic and full of flavor. The overall atmosphere of the eatery was delightful and serene too. Highly recommend this place as our group truly savored all the unique flavors and top-notch service!

Just had a session for a pregnancy massage. Disappointed as only received neck massage and stretching. For $100, I expected more. Also, lying on my back during pregnancy is not safe. Arrived promptly for a calming massage. Wasn't instructed to show up early for paperwork, but was handed a thorough questionnaire to fill out which took 10mins (and I'm quite speedy at paperwork). The massage was satisfactory except for a pesky fly in the room that kept landing on me - not very pleasant. Only received a 40-minute massage but was billed for a full hour. I won't be coming back.

Consistently bustling, Fridays may not be the most convenient day for shopping. However, the stock has increased since my last visit. There are great specials on chicken and the fish appears fresh. The produce section is consistently well-stocked with high-quality items. Managed to snag some good deals and it was definitely worth the effort.
