I popped in to purchase some dressings for my daughter's rashes. When I shop, I like to take my time comparing prices to ensure I don't miss anything. Within 10 minutes, I was approached for help by 3 different individuals, and then a 4th time by the 3rd person. I can appreciate the 1st and even the 2nd person asking, but the 3rd person? Asking me twice? When I politely declined with "No, I'm okay thank you" the 3rd time, they continued to linger and watch me as I shopped. When a customer declines assistance, it should be respected. Following a somewhat disappointing initial bridal makeup trial for our Wellington wedding, I contacted Giselle and asked if she would be willing to travel down for my big day to do our makeup instead. I have utilized Giselle's services multiple times over the years for special occasions and have adored every look she has created for me. I had complete trust in booking her for my wedding and fortunately my partner agreed that the travel expense was justified for my happiness. I underwent two trials with Giselle due to postponements (thanks to c*vid) and on the day we even made some adjustments. Giselle truly listens and is the epitome of professionalism. My mother, mother-in-law, and chief bridesmaid all adored their makeup and I felt incredibly beautiful on my special day. There was a mix-up with my hair appointment, as it was scheduled for a half head treatment instead of the full head I requested. Upon arrival, I was informed that only the half head service could be accommodated due to time constraints. The handling of this situation was disappointing, and the communication could have been more polite and understanding. It felt like the blame was subtly shifted to me, which was disconcerting. The interaction with the staff, particularly the person in charge of hair extensions, was less pleasant than expected. Today I had a massage from the wonderful Paige Bush. Her professionalism and welcoming presence made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout my entire experience. The tranquil and clean set up of the massage room invited me to feel safe and trusting of Paige, with friendly chatting, frequent check-ups of pressure and boundaries, and explanations of what she was doing. Paige is a very knowledgeable individual in her area of work and her passion for massage really shines through. I would gladly book in with her again.

I recently popped into Vivo Hair, Hamilton, Centre Place for a keratin smoothing treatment, having shared my hair woes beforehand. Alas, my visit left me quite disappointed. Despite briefing the salon on my hair's tendency to turn frizzy and wavy post-prior keratin treatment, my locks remained in their unruly state, with no sign of the promised taming of baby hairs. As a patron, I anticipated a personalized and expert approach to cater to my specific requirements, particularly given the prior notification about my hair type. Regrettably, the results did not reflect this attention to detail. While I acknowledge the salon's efforts, I find myself dissatisfied with the treatment's outcome. I kindly request that Vivo Hair either re-perform the treatment to achieve the desired results or refund the service provided. I trust this feedback will contribute to enhancing future experiences for both myself and other patrons.

To get to Exquisite Beauty Therapy and Spa at 28/44 Horsham Downs Road, Rototuna North, Hamilton 3210, New Zealand by public transport, take bus number 18 from Hamilton Transport Centre and get off at the Horsham Downs Rd at Thomas Rd stop. From there, it's a short walk to the salon. If driving, head north on Horsham Downs Road from Thomas Road, then turn right onto the salon's street.

Today, I got a stunning flower arrangement delivered. It was a gift from my family in Sydney for my birthday. Despite a mix-up with the courier causing a delay in the delivery, Wild River & Co sent me a sweet note of apology (even though it wasn't their fault) along with a bonus scented candle and a delicious bar of Pear & Manuka Honey chocolate. Their customer service is exceptional, and I highly recommend this florist. They have won me over as a loyal customer. A big thank you to Erin & Dida for going above and beyond.
