Response to establishment: no remorse and no responsibility. As a fellow business owner, it's disheartening to witness. Simply put, it's standard procedure that when doing a perm and trim, the haircut should come after. He's not one to seek conflict, but as a hair salon, this should be common knowledge. Why would anyone want half of their head to remain straight after a perm? Before the treatment, his hair length was sufficient for perming. I'm deducting another star due to the lackluster reply.About

To get to Salon Beautique at 1 Atlantic Place, Manukau, Auckland 2105 by public transport, you can take bus number 33 from Manukau Bus Station and get off at the Great South Road / Te Irirangi Drive stop, then walk 5 minutes to the salon. If driving, you can take the Southern Motorway and exit at Manukau, then turn onto Lambie Drive and continue straight until you reach Atlantic Place, where the salon is located.

Deceptive owner. I purchased 2 sets of earrings which were fine. Later, my partner got me a pair of pearl earrings and one had a noticeable chip. They claimed all earrings are inspected and suggested it might be a natural flaw, asking us to return them at our own expense. The tone of their response raised suspicions that they might deny the issue and charge us more to get them back, so we decided to bear the cost. When my partner left feedback, the owner falsely claimed the earrings had been used. Our initial assumption of their dishonesty was proven correct. Their lack of understanding during Cyclone Gabrielle (when we had no internet, phone, or power) which prevented me from contacting them immediately after Valentine's Day, is truly disappointing. I advise against shopping here.
P.S.: The seal on the package wasn't broken; I opened it to take a photo as evidence. The design and color were fine; the problem was the chip. Additionally, stating on the website that you won't abide by the law if a faulty item is opened is not acceptable. In New Zealand, you are legally obligated to replace or repair items that are not fit for purpose. Visited in late Jan 2024 to get a spray tan for my wedding. Juggling a 5-month-old baby and wedding planning, I totally forgot about those bride beauty appointments 🤣 (too chill, oops!). Left booking too late for a trial, but was reassured that a pre-wedding tan would turn out fine. The whole experience was comfy and very informative (even got detailed written aftercare instructions). When your tech is in awe as they spray you, you know they're tan pros. The "sun-kissed" tan (my pick) turned out amazing, no one guessed it was a spray tan. When I spilled the beans, they all thought it was my natural tan. That's how you know it's a good tan!
