I turned up to my appointment and they had two different people doing my nails at the same time, then midway through I realise a trainee who, although very polite, clearly had no idea what she was doing, doing one hand and another girl doing my other hand. All of the nails were different lengths and sizes and I paid full price for the set. I rang up and complained and rather than doing a full set for free they did the hand the trainee had done again and when came home, after 6 hours one of the nails had already come off. My spouse and I purchased bubble tea from Lulu’s, and it was among the best we've ever had. They have a limited selection of flavors, but we can vouch for the original and taro being exceptionally delicious! We asked for less sweetness and ice, and they accommodated our request. You can choose between regular size ($7.99) or large (+$2) with an additional $1 for boba. In total, we spent around ~$18. The staff is friendly, and browsing the grocery store while waiting adds to the experience. To get from Salon to Holy Skin Tattoo in Pembroke Mall, Wanaka 9035, New Zealand, take the number 1 bus from the nearest bus stop to the Wanaka town center, then transfer to the number 4 bus which will take you directly to the tattoo studio.
