I've been coming here for a while now to get Acupuncture and massage, I find everyone here very helpful and friendly. The Acupuncture and massage I've received so far have been helping with my pain. The prices they charge are very affordable and fair. They are open 7 days a week, which is very convenient. Visited Hippopotamus for supper. Their spot is very classy and the decor is well put together. Opted for the Theatre menu. I may have set my hopes too high, but I was anticipating a spectacle of them plating our dishes right in front of us. Instead, we had a staff member do the plating in front of us, lacking effort or entertainment value. Just slicing the meat and serving it. This left me underwhelmed by the Theatre menu and somewhat dampened my evening and dining experience. We assumed there would be some cooking happening before us, not just slicing.
Don't get me wrong, the service and staff were genuinely warm and pleasant. I just feel they need to inject a bit of wow factor into the Theatre menu. I've been frequenting the hair salon in Tāmaki Makaurau for a couple of years now. The establishment is always impeccably clean and organized. It exudes a serene atmosphere that is a welcome change from the chaotic and stressful salons I've visited previously. The staff members have all been exceptional. I've been attended to by three hairstylists at the salon and I would happily book an appointment with any of them again...all very skilled and take pride in their craft. ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE NAIL SALON IN AUCKLAND! An incredibly pleasant experience getting my nails done. The interior is stunning and immaculate. I was extremely pleased with my SNS manicure. It may not look like much from the outside, but the interior is very upscale. The ladies are exceptionally gentle, understanding, and friendly. I made a small mistake with the color I chose, and they were unbelievably patient with me. The prices are very reasonable considering how lovely it is (e.g., compared to competitors, the price is essentially the same, but the salon is much, much nicer!) I will definitely be returning and wouldn't even think about going elsewhere now. Highly recommend to anyone in need of pampering.
