Paid for the full head of foils treatment $159 (30th sept) I assumed she would do an awesome job like the first time I went there.... Unfortunately I was wrong...the foils were completely uneven and not just at the front..it was all over the sides and at the front, and way off the scalp line,I didn't notice until I had gone home and lifted my hair. Messaged Angela and she agreed I could come in so she could fix it... (Spent another $40 in petrol)1st Oct I went back in and she admitted she had tried a different foiling style and that's why it didn't come out right...so she put more foils in and tried to fix it...washed and blow dried....still the foils were way off so she tried one more time....once she blow dried it I commented saying "will the yellow go away with purple shampoo " which she replied "no as I've already put purple shampoo in" the front hairline was still way off with the foils but by this point I gave up as this was her third attempt In the couple of weeks that followed I tried to come to terms with my hair but everytime tried to make it look nice I would be in tears because it looks so bad (the yellow and the lines) so I messaged Angela on the 16th to advise I'm really upset about the whole situation etc...in the meantime I went to a local hairdresser to see what they advised...which was that it was an awful job and the only thing that could half pye fix it is a root smudge and a toner,until I let her botch up grow out I messaged Angela an update and asked for either a refund or $118 which would pay for the fix up job She replied over 24 hours after my first message and said their policy is rectifying the issue which she thinks she did on October 1st.She did not rectify it after attempting 3 times to do my hair therefore I should be entitled to a refund. Hemi completely missed the mark on understanding what I wanted for my hair... I explained my expectations multiple times. I trusted him to give me a look similar to one of his assistants. Throughout the process, he kept changing the price for the color application every 15 minutes... and ended up charging me more than I've ever paid for my hair in the last 5 years, with disappointing results. I reluctantly agreed to the process as he had already applied bleach to my hair, leaving me with no other options... even after showing him images and patterns, he did what he pleased or imagined in his mind... I didn't expect an exact replica, but at least something similar. The staff is friendly, no doubt, as that's part of their job... but that doesn't justify the salon's high 4.9-star rating... please refrain from giving inaccurate ratings as it can ruin someone's hair that they have to live with after paying a hefty price... a total letdown... 😣☹️ the first image shows his work, and the second image depicts what I had hoped for.
