I popped in for a quick moko before I left Rotorua back to Aotearoa Wednesday morning. I was very quickly accommodated but not only that it was one of the friendliest moko studios I’ve been to.
Tane was the one to do my moko and I was thoroughly impressed, no matter how simple my design was. We were quick to discuss what I wanted and Tane was quick to point out that what I wanted wouldn’t really flow with my current moko which I was adding too. Interested in flogging you pricey pharmacy goods, but unhelpful and almost rude for real assistance. This pharmacy in central Auckland is easy to spot. Having visited Auckland many times, I've needed basic pharmacy items like travel sickness meds for the kids heading to the ski fields. However, this pharmacy has consistently been unhelpful over the years. On my latest trip, I forgot my blood pressure meds. When I asked for an emergency supply, I was bluntly told to see a doctor for a prescription - no concern shown. No suggestions were made on how to get a prescription quickly. Though missing a few days won't kill me, a quick search reveals that NZ pharmacies can provide emergency supplies. Avoid unless necessary. It was great to see such a professional women's traditional yet modern grooming establishment.
The style of the decor is fantastic. With a bar/coffee shop built into the waiting lounge, books to read and lots to take in. The staff are helpful, friendly, and professional.
Jade my barber to me through a maze of rooms, up a spiral staircase to another amazing room for my haircut and style. At $50 it was worth every penny, I only wish I had taken some cash for a tip.
To book an appointment I simply went to the website, went through the menu and paid. Securing my cut and style for the next day. Very cool and a breeze to use. Even placing the event into my phones calendar.
I shall return from now on and would recommend these gals 100%

Edit. I just booked my second visit but due to unforseen circumstances I arrived late with 10 min left on my appointment. I was told I would have to pay another $50 and wait an hour or more. I mean waiting is not a problem and I'm not fussy who cuts my hair but making me pay an additional $50 is not very Lady like. So to sum up your customer service sucks and that is number one in my books. What a shame.
