Huge thanks to the wonderful Max for his outstanding customer service, product expertise, and endless patience - convincing someone who has always used L'Oréal and Clinique products to try new brands is no small feat, but he successfully won over my nan, who is now a loyal Mecca customer. Truly the most dreadful hairdressing encounter I have ever faced and unfortunately our teenage daughter left in tears distressed from her haircut.
Went for a simple trim of split ends on our daughter’s long cherished hair and the female hairdresser (who also had long black hair) kept on criticizing our daughter, calling her hair “lifeless” and “severely damaged” and ended up cutting off a significant portion of it. She even suggested to our daughter to shave her entire head so her hair would grow back beautifully. Who in their right mind says that to a 15-year-old. A competent hairdresser would understand that ALL hair is lifeless the moment it emerges from the scalp. I've been a patron of Ratree's salon since I was 9 years old, which was over 20 years ago. I've never sought services elsewhere. Ratree and her sister are both warm and welcoming. My late mother used to frequent this salon, so I continue the tradition of getting my hair done here in her memory. The salon is much more hygienic and courteous compared to others I've visited, regardless of how busy it may be. Patience is key when visiting. I look forward to my appointment with Ratree in the New Year. I only cut my hair once annually. I'd like a quiff undercut, please! 👋🥺

Went and got a haircut from here a couple days ago to completely change up my hairstyle. I've had the same haircut since I was 11 years old, now turning 18 later this year. Was pretty nervous going into it but the staff and the environment there were really friendly and super welcoming. Jess was my barber and she did an incredible job and I'm super stoked with how it turned out, her communication was flawless.
