Truly the most dreadful hairdressing encounter I have ever faced and unfortunately our teenage daughter left in tears distressed from her haircut.
Went for a simple trim of split ends on our daughter’s long cherished hair and the female hairdresser (who also had long black hair) kept on criticizing our daughter, calling her hair “lifeless” and “severely damaged” and ended up cutting off a significant portion of it. She even suggested to our daughter to shave her entire head so her hair would grow back beautifully. Who in their right mind says that to a 15-year-old. A competent hairdresser would understand that ALL hair is lifeless the moment it emerges from the scalp. I am truly let down by my recent visit to The Beauty Spot Wellington. My appointment was set for 4 p.m. on Saturday, only to be canceled 10 minutes prior due to the therapist falling ill. While I understand sickness is unpredictable, the lack of an alternative therapist was disappointing. Cancelling so last minute is disrespectful and unprofessional, showing a disregard for the client's time and commitment. This left me feeling frustrated and inconvenienced, especially considering the absence of a backup plan.
